Manufacturing Land Rover

Land Rover

I personally think that Land Rover has really nice SUV's & OEM Land Rover Wheels , but that's just me. I mean, they look like luxurious SUV's that I'd want everyone to see me in. Anyway, Land Rover & the Factory Land Rover Rims are headquartered in Gaydon .. which is in the United Kingdom. These headquarters specialize in four-wheel drive vehicles. They're owned by Tata Motors, which forms part of the Jaguar Land Rover branch.

Land Rover & Land Rover Wheels were initially manufactured as only one vehicle .. which was known as Land Rover. It was launched by the Rover Company in 1948 & has been developed into a brand that has a wide range of four-wheel drive models.

These cars include the Defender, Discovery, Freelander, & even the original Land Rover - which are all equipped with nothing but the best OE Land Rover Rims . All Land Rovers, as of now, are assembled in Halewood, United Kingdom and Solihull, United Kingdom. All their research is done in Gaydon, where their headquarters is located. Last year alone, Land Rover sold 194,000 cars world wide.
Land Rover has had a lot of owners throughout the years. In 1967, Land Rover & all of its Factory Land Rover Rims joined Leyland Motor Corporation. Then in 1968, Leyland Motor Corporation united with British Motor Holdings to eventually form British Leyland. When the 1980s rolled around, British Leyland was broken-up & divided into the Rover Group .. which was later on acquired by British Aerospace.

If you think that's a lot, there's more coming. In 1994, the Rover Group was inherited by BMW. Six years later, in 2000, the Rover Group was broken up by BMW and then Land Rover was sold to the Ford Motor Company. They became part the Premier Automotive Group. In June of 2008, Ford sold Land Rover and even sold their Jaguar Cars to Tata Motors.
That's more a lot, right?

The first Land Rover & Land Rover Wheels were designed in 1948 in the United Kingdom. It wasdesigned by a man named Maurice Wilks, who was the chief designer at Rover on his own farm in Newborough, Anglesey. Some people speculate that the car was inspired by the World War II Jeep that he just so happened to use one summer at his holiday home that was in Wales. The very first Land Rover prototype was built & manufactured on a Jeep chassis. There is a distinctive feature in both of their bodies, they were built from a type of aluminum called Birmabright.

On March 26, 2008, Ford announced that they had come to an agreement to sell its Jaguar & Land Rover operations to Tata Motors. The sale was final on the 2 of June in 2008 - so just about three months after.

Land Rovers & even the 2002 Range Rover Wheels were manufactured at the Solihull plant, which is a plant near Birmingham. The manufacturing of the Freelander was relocated to the Jaguar car factory at Halewood .. which is near Liverpool. The Defender models are produced under a certain license at several locations that are worldwide. These locations include Spain, Iran, Brazil, & even Turkey. In May earlier this year, Tata Motors stated that they plan to build Land Rovers, Land Rover Wheels , & even Jaguars in China since they plan to cut costs & just expand sales. Even if it was made in China, I'd still buy the car.
