Fiat Unveils Fiat Mio, The Small Car

Fiat the Italian car manufacturer unveiled the new car with special deigns to suit the needs of the future generations. The new car, exhibited at Sao Paulo in 2010, is based on a new concept especially designed to keep the coming time and its needs.

For this small car, 11,000 and more designs were submitted by as many as 17,000 participants. Using these various designs, the new Fiat Mio was made.

As per the sources, from the company, Fiat is always looking for innovations. The car was designed to keep in mind the driver's comfort so that the driver can also enjoy like passengers and leave the car in control of an intelligent technology.

The car from Fiat stable, has given the world a sneak preview of how the future auto mobiles will be. Fiat Mio is small car which has surely given the car aficionados the glimpse of the future cars.

Peter Fassbender, Fiat design head, said that a trait of a good designer is to adapt and conceptualize what others wish and to come with what everyone desires for. The car Fiat has brought the concept which will be appreciated by everyone.

The Fiat Mio is an eco friendly car which is 98 inches long, it means the new car is 6 inches shorter than Smart Fortwo. The new small car is the third car with the same concept, others are the FCC Adventure and FCC Bugster. The car perfectly fits in the criteria set by the Government to curb emissions in the environment. The Fiat Mio, is an electric drive wheeler which proposes zero emissions. The car is universally designed to suit the mobility of various drivers around the world.

The rumors doing the rounds for Fiat have been settled and its out that the Italian car maker engineers are working to make the electric variant engine. As per the sources, the company has purchased the battery packs from SB LiMotive. The dream to see the EV on road will be a reality soon.

With a lot of things happening in theinternational front, Fiat India, could not use the profitable market to its benefit. The company owns Fiat Linea, Fiat Punto, Fiat 500, Fiat Palio Stile and Fiat Palio Stile Multijet. With these products also, the company was not able to achieve the success it was hoping for. In this year, the Fiat sales went down by eight per cent which calculates to 11,863 cars when compared to the 12,893 cars last year. The dropping sales is the result of Fiat, not able to reach to its customers and the after sales services which put the show down for Fiat India.
